Job Description:
As a Bachelor-Level Licensed Social Worker (LSW), you will play a crucial role in our Youth PHP/IOP Programs by providing high-quality counseling, support, and guidance to adolescents and their families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and professionals to deliver evidence-based care to address mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and help develop individualized treatment plans for youth clients.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues.
- Engage with families to support their involvement in the treatment process and provide family counseling as needed.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other team members to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings.
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in the field of youth mental health.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
- Experience working with youth and adolescents in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
