Medical Social Worker (MSW) jobs in Utica, NY

LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment at

Indian River intermediate and Middle Schools, Philadelphia, New York

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

 Provide individual and group counseling to students with disabilities

 Assist CSE’s in conducting initial evaluations

 Assess, document, and report student progress on counseling goals

 Collaborate with a team of educators serving students

 Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, school personnel, CSE’s, and community agencies

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Social Work (Licensure preferred) and New York State Certification as a School Social Worker Required. Demonstrated successful student counseling experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $53,524-$55,724. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
