Medical Staff Credentialing Director is responsible for all aspects of the verification process for medical staff incumbents. Provides regulatory oversight and guidance to the credentialing process. Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Director maintains working knowledge and ensures continuing compliance with state, federal, and institutional standards and guidelines. Develops and implements policies and protocols related to medical staff verifications and ensures that the organization and staff are in accordance with organizational and industry standards. Additionally, Medical Staff Credentialing Director analyzes reports on applications and credential status to identify trends and improve the credentialing process. Presents files to the credentialing committee and may act as a liaison to state medical licensure boards regarding the status of license applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS). Typically reports to senior management. The Medical Staff Credentialing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Medical Staff Credentialing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     The Weekend Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service to patients in a retail pharmacy setting. The pharmacist will work on Saturdays and Sundays. The pharmacist will work closely with pharmacy technicians and other staff members to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications. The pharmacist will also be responsible for counseling patients on medication use and answering any questions they may have. This position must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for a retail and compound pharmacy and performs related duties as required. Victory Medical is a family oriented, locally owned business.     Job Duties Include
    • Provides pharmacy services to patient and medical practitioners. Counsels patients and medical practitioners regarding the nature and use of drugs.
    • Responsible for achieving individual pharmacy operating goals related to business objectives which will maximize revenue gains, meet compliance, develop staff and support our culture.
    • Oversees the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications to patients or medical practitioners.
    • Oversees the preparation of all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory.
    • Follows established policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
    • Provides guidance, training and supervision to pharmacy interns and technicians during course of work and monitors performance.
    • Documents and reports medication errors and quality related events.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Knowledge of business acumen as it relates to the operation of a retail pharmacy.
    • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    • Knowledge of the use, clinical effects, and composition of drugs, including their chemical, biological, and physical properties.
    • Ability to supervise support staff and ensure an efficient work flow.
    • Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
    • Commitment to company values and the ability to be a strong team player.
    • Ability to assign, prioritize, and evaluate the work of others.
    • Must possess a professional appearance and possess excellent communication skills
    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
    • Minimum 2 years pharmacy management experience in high volume setting
    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
    • Pharmacy license in good standing in the state in which they are practicing
    Schedule:
    Saturday: 9am-5pm
    Sunday: 12pm-5pm
