Rapid City Medical Center is seeking a full-time Referral Specialist for our GI Department at Rapid City Medical Center. Duties will include, but not limited to, scheduling of incoming referrals, sending out procedure intakes, preparation/mailing out procedure letters, scheduling post-hospital, post tec, and recheck appointments. Qualified applicants will have great attention to detail, customer service skills and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with providers, nurses, and patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE: One year of health care organization experience.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Medical office with exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions related to the clinic setting.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Daily activity is 90 percent sitting and 10 percent walking or standing with repetitive data entry. Employee must have the ability to manage the demands of many providers at once with professionalism and a good attitude.
