Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist, Sr. loads and maintains provider information in an online credentialing database system. Tracks license and certification expirations for medical staff to ensure timely renewals. Additionally, Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist, Sr. handles and resolves inquiries regarding credentialing information, process, or status. May provide guidance or expertise to less experienced specialists. Requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS). Typically reports to a supervisor. Given this focus, encapsulated and enlivened by the motto Theory, Practice, Performance (or learning, trying and doing) we are looking for a Student Employment Specialist to join the Center for Career Exploration & Development at Ithaca College. The Student Employment Specialist will be responsible for building and implementing programming to enhance student employment at Ithaca College, in coordination with faculty and staff campus-wide.
Supervision:
The Student Employment Specialist will report to the Associate Director of the Center for Career Exploration and Development in the Enrollment and Student Success division. Ongoing communication and coordination will be necessary with the Provost’s Office, the Registrar’s Office, Human Resources, and Student Financial Services.
