    Responsible for delivering entry-level to executive-level candidates into the workforce, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process, in accordance with Katmai’s hiring strategy. The Medical Recruiter and Credentialing Specialist will perform full life cycling recruiting and credentialing while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, customers, and the community at large.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
    • Conduct recruitment trips, job fairs, career days, and other recruiting activities, as required and requested.
    • Stay current with knowledge of employment regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
    • Create job descriptions as required and needed.
    • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
    • Evaluate candidates including determining qualifications based on job descriptions.
    • Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits and job or career opportunities.
    • Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when requested.
    • Conduct phone interviews, reference checks, and in person interviews as requested and necessary.
    • Write advertising copy as needed to attract candidates.
    • Use social media to promote jobs and the Company, coordinating with the Company’s recruiter for all social media outreach.
    • Initiate offer letter requests upon the hiring manager’s direction.
    • Work cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
    • Perform credentialing and re-credentialing activities of all Health Care Personnel.
    • Complete and process government, facility, and state credentialing applications.
    • Oversee the collection of all pertinent primary source verification for all Health Care providers.
    • Other duties as assigned.



    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or related field. Relevant work experience will be considered, on a year for year basis.
    • 5 years full lifecycle recruiting.
    • 5 years of Health Care staff credentialing.
    • Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
    • Experience working with credentialing software.

    COVID VACCINATION

    SPECIAL SKILLS

    • Computer skilled, with advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS systems.
    • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment and selection.
    • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform via written, oral and visual media.
    • Knowledge of appropriate procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and build positive business relationships.
    • Ability to recruit for broad/deep range of positions.
    • Ability to effectively present information to management and workforce groups verbally or in written format.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
    • Proven ability to exercise mature judgment – specifically in recognizing and respecting the confidential nature of corporate and personnel matters.

    DRIVING REQUIREMENT

    Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.

    Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 10%.

    Travel up to 10%.
