Additionally, Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist, Sr. handles and resolves inquiries regarding credentialing information, process, or status. May provide guidance or expertise to less experienced specialists. Requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS). Typically reports to a supervisor. The Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist, Sr. typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. Focus Staff is seeking a Medical Assistant who is highly motivated and energetic.
Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: 3x12 Evenings

Requirements:- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Certified through ASCP.
- CPR Certified.
- 2 years working in a Medical Assistant capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities:- Prepare patient for examination by assessing condition, taking vital signs, and/or documenting medical record.
- May assist Physician and/or technician with procedure(s).
- Monitor response to treatment and medication.
- Document patient results. Administer medication and/or injections.
- Setup IV if necessary.
- Perform routine laboratory functions such as obtaining specimens and ordering analysis.
- Assist with front office duties as needed.
