Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor jobs in Portland, OR

Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor oversees day-to-day activities of staff that process credentialing and recredentialing applications for health care providers. Implements department procedures to facilitate organized and up-to-date provider databases. Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor administers system for tracking license and certification expirations to ensure renewals are submitted in a timely fashion. Ensures that applications are properly verified and accurately uploaded into an online credentialing database system. Additionally, Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor resolves complex questions regarding credentialing or provider database maintenance and best practices. Prepares reports on applications and credentialing status to identify trends and improve the credentialing process. May require a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS). Typically reports to a manager. The Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Description:
    Candidates will work in the HAF Expansion area and will work with the following materials such as hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content. Follows blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics. Maintains running accounts of orders received, work completed, and inventory. Matches workload, manning, and equipment capacity to existing inventory. Prepares and monitors master schedules by working with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities. Requisitions materials after determining delivery dates.

    Roles:
    • Operates equipment in a clean environment using manufactured products from raw materials into finished goods.
    • Maintains inventory records of raw materials used in manufacturing and keeps accurate and up-to-date records and/or data sheets on materials in the process.
    • Performs in-process tests to ensure production meets required specifications.
    • Recognizes equipment malfunctions and/or product deficiencies, and troubleshoots errors to achieve continuing optimum production levels.

    • Electronics circuit board soldering. Thruhole and surface mount.

    Qualifications:
    • Acquires basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures; generally, has little or no prior relevant training or work experience.
