Nemaha County Hospital is searching for a Medical Technologist to add to our Laboratory Team. Overnight shift is preferred, working 10 pm to 0630 am. Technologists perform various clinical laboratory tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, perform general phlebotomy and arterial blood specimen collection, and all test procedures and quality control in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Technologists are proficient in testing Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Banking. They perform instrument maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures and comply with the performance operations and requirements of the NCH Compliance Program. Full-time employment is 40 hours per week, with extended "on-call" hours, as necessary.
