Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting a board certified/board eligible Hematology and Oncology Physician to join an established practice based at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.   

Highlights of the position include:

• Join an established practice with a large referral base, working along side an experienced physician.  The practice also includes a nurse practitioner to assist with volume and patient access.  
• There is a high volume of breast cancer within the practice, although all cancers are seen.   
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, seeing a variety of patients. 
• Inpatient call will be 1:4 weekends.
• The office is located on the Hospital campus, in a large outpatient center with onsite infusion center, lab and imaging services, in addition to primary care and other surgical specialty practices.  

Qualifications

• Board Certification / Board Eligibility by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology.
• The ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
