Medical Writer jobs in Las Cruces, NM

Ignite is currently recruiting a temporary Technical Writer to support our efforts at White Sands Missile Range, NM.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing/editing drawings, lists, instructions, diagrams, reports, plans, charts, graphs, descriptions, and schedules.

• Capable of taking data from a written or data-based source and producing a final report for publication to include written and graphical information in a format consistent with TRAC requirements.

• Demonstrates the ability to work with analysts and software engineers to provide recommendations on the correct way to display data in a written or multimedia document.

Required Experience:

• Must have a combination of 4 years of work experience and college/university education that provided comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of technical writing concepts.

• Knowledge of and skill in utilizing and manipulating Microsoft Office Suite, Filemaker Pro, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and the full version of Adobe Acrobat Pro.

• Ability to provide technical support for data entry, database manipulation, reports publication, and presentation development in direct support of TRAC-WSMR directorates and TRAC-assigned special projects.

• Skill in creating charts using Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Graph.

• Ability to perform text and graphics entry, formatting, and integration functions on formatted documents using Microsoft Office and other application software on current Dell-based systems.

• Ability to perform printing, compiling, and binding of agendas, schedules, manuals, and workbooks or handouts for conferences and special events, which may include preparing tent cards, meal cards, certificates, invitations, programs, after-action reports, proceedings, and other material to support these tasks.

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and 4 years of experience in technical writing

Work Site Requirement:

• Must be a US citizen

• Currently have, or ability to obtain, a Secret clearance

• Work on-site at White Sands Missile Range, NM
