Meeting/Event Assistant plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Assistant researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Assistant conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Establishes relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. May assist more senior event planners in planning larger or more complex events. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Assistant work is closely managed. Academic appointments, including rank, will be determined by the university as a part of the hiring process. Principal faculty will be eligible for promotion and tenure as per Lipscomb University policies commensurate with other faculty of similar academic responsibilities.

Program Director of the Physician Assistant Studies program
The Director of Clinical Education (DCE), who serves as a full-time principal faculty member within the School of Physician Assistant Studies, will be actively involved with the three tenets of higher education: teaching, service, and scholarship. Additionally, the DCE will serve as a critical team member, collectively and collaboratively supporting the mission of the PA program and Lipscomb University. Together with the program director, medical director, existing faculty, and staff, the DCE will also primarily support both the academic and administrative processes required for the provision of the clinical components of the program.
