Meeting/Event Assistant plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Assistant researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Assistant conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Establishes relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. May assist more senior event planners in planning larger or more complex events. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Assistant work is closely managed. Activity Assistant Essential Functions:
This position implements group programming for the residents that promotes interaction between residents. Required to assist in planning such activities. We will notify residents and staff of the activity schedule, monitor the events to ensure assistance is provided and enjoyment of the residents participation is well documented.
Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by the Activities Director in order to provide: a friendly visitor, sensory stimulation, reality orientation, individual instruction on specific leisure pursuits, a means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each resident’s Activity Plan
This position reports to Activities Director on resident’s responses and/or progress to specific approaches utilized. Complete documentation about resident needs, responses, and participation.
Arranges chairs, tables, and equipment in designated rooms or other areas for scheduled group activities, such as banquets, receptions, parties, group meetings, or special events.
Is a High school graduate or possess a GED.
