Position Summary:
As the Substation Director, you will play an instrumental role in overseeing and expanding our substation construction business. You will be responsible for leveraging existing relationships to secure new projects and clients, managing substation operations, coordinating project activities, and ensuring successful project execution. Additionally, you will be actively involved in estimating projects and providing accurate cost projections.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development and Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our substation construction business. Utilize existing relationships to secure new opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and develop strategies to acquire them.
- Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
Estimating and Cost Analysis:
- Prepare comprehensive project estimates, considering labor, materials, equipment, and other relevant factors.
- Analyze project costs, track expenses, and identify areas for cost optimization.
Substation Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for substation construction projects.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of substation construction activities.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve any project-related challenges or issues.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide input on budgeting and financial planning for substation construction projects.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Develop a team of substation construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Requirements:
