Meeting/Event Director jobs in Orlando, FL
Meeting/Event Director directs the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events for an organization. Defines the goals, success metrics, and messaging for events. Being a Meeting/Event Director implements best practices and develops planning standards, policies. and procedures. Additionally, Meeting/Event Director develops a network of vendors. Approves the final selection of venues, catering, technology, and other event support services. Reviews and approves contracts and has overall responsibility for ensuring events stay within budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Meeting/Event Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Meeting/Event Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. We have an immediate need for an LPN, Director of Wellness for our Assisted Living community.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provides organizational structure and ensures effective and efficient daily operations within the wellness department.
- Actively advocates for superior care and promotes service excellence.
- Ensures that the community meets all Federal and State guidelines and requirements.
Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- CPR, First Aid
