Meeting/Event Director directs the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events for an organization. Defines the goals, success metrics, and messaging for events. Being a Meeting/Event Director implements best practices and develops planning standards, policies. and procedures. Additionally, Meeting/Event Director develops a network of vendors. Approves the final selection of venues, catering, technology, and other event support services. Reviews and approves contracts and has overall responsibility for ensuring events stay within budget. We are currently accepting applications for Maintenance Director. In order to be considered for this position, interested individuals must:
· Possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or GED
· Have experience in planning and implementing repairs, construction, and equipment installation/maintenance
· Be in good mental and physical health, have sound judgment, and a sincere desire to work with the facility’s population
· Be able to push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 25lbs to a height of five feet, and be able to move and/or carry such weight for a minimum distance of 50 feet
· Have a working knowledge of standard equipment use and maintenance
· Be able to receive and carry out directives, as well as effectively supervise and direct personnel
· Be highly dependable and punctual
· Be able to work events, weekends, holidays, and in emergency situations whenever required
Preference will be given to candidates with previous leadership and/or management experience in maintenance/facility plant management in a high-paced environment.
Reliable transportation and an ability to respond to the facility 24/7 in the case of an emergency is required.
This position additionally requires on-call duties and consistent availability during non-traditional business hours.
