Meeting/Event Director directs the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events for an organization. Defines the goals, success metrics, and messaging for events. Being a Meeting/Event Director implements best practices and develops planning standards, policies. and procedures. Additionally, Meeting/Event Director develops a network of vendors. Approves the final selection of venues, catering, technology, and other event support services. Reviews and approves contracts and has overall responsibility for ensuring events stay within budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Meeting/Event Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Meeting/Event Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the School with the School Director, and achieving Learning Care Group’s safety vision of “No One Gets Hurt.”  In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the School.  The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under his/her care; and assists with a variety of administrative tasks and opening/closing the School at least 50% of the time.

    • Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents.

    Job Requirements:

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must have previous management experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care facility.
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
