Meeting/Event Director directs the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events for an organization. Defines the goals, success metrics, and messaging for events. Being a Meeting/Event Director implements best practices and develops planning standards, policies. and procedures. Additionally, Meeting/Event Director develops a network of vendors. Approves the final selection of venues, catering, technology, and other event support services. Reviews and approves contracts and has overall responsibility for ensuring events stay within budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Meeting/Event Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Meeting/Event Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director to join our team. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization, including supervise and lead their staff, design program plans, oversee daily activities and prepare budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, organizational and leadership skills. And a passion for working in a childcare setting.
Duties:
- Creating and Maintaining a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff
- Building a relationship with parents and families
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Evaluate and assess program effectiveness
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood
- Experience working with infant/toddler/preschool in an approved settings( licensed childcare center or church operated school).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse community
- Detail-oriented and organized
