Meeting/Event Planner plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     POSITION SUMMARY

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment, providing care to varied populations including male and female children, adolescents and adults as well as dually diagnosed adults.


    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health field with a minimum of two years’ experience

     

     

    Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years clinical experience and 1 year of management experience with case management and the utilization review process including concurrent review. Previous continuum of care experience highly preferred.
