Key Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate multiple inventory tasks providing support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
2. Inventory Control: Develop and implement comprehensive inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, prevent shortages, and minimize waste across all sites.
3. Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety protocols and ensure all inventory operations adhere to safety guidelines to create a secure work environment at each location.
4. Technology Integration: Utilize technology proficiently to streamline inventory processes, implement digital inventory systems, and leverage data analysis for decision-making. Extensive ERP experience
5. Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail to verify incoming shipments, ensure accurate material identification, and conduct regular inventory audits.
6. Team Performance Management: Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and materials within the organization.
8. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory practices, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement best practices across all sites.
9. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet inventory demands at each site.
10. Trustworthy and Reliable: Uphold a high level of trust and reliability in managing inventory data, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Masters Degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory planning and implementing best practices. Experience with gear manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong technology proficiency, Oracle in particular, including inventory management software and data analysis tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and verification.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Experience with scheduling systems and ERP. Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and compliance requirements in inventory operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
