Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. General Job Description:
The Planner position prepares complete estimates for assigned project(s) and determines project plans and specifications. This role will be responsible for taking photos and verifying that equipment information in the field is matching what is in the system.
Functional Requirements:
Reviews and incorporates historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures, Estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job, Reviews specifications, drawings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate, Prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work, Maintains files of working documents and back-up for estimate figures, Follows contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc., Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
