Member Certification Specialist coordinates the certification and credentialing programs of a professional or membership organization. Participates in the development of standards and the creation of testing materials. Being a Member Certification Specialist maintains and monitors a test scheduling system or database. Organizes resources to implement testing schedules and sessions, including locations, testers, technology, and materials. Additionally, Member Certification Specialist assists members with information about programs and resolves any issues with the process. Interfaces with and monitors outside testing providers. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Member Certification Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Echo/Vascular Technician
Position: Requires considerable technical ability, experience and judgement to perform cardiovascular ultrasound and evaluate the quality of data for Cardiologist interpretation. Must have substantial knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular disease, dynamics of blood flow, doppler and color flow imaging techniques. Expected to have a detailed understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology and pathology, hemodynamics and the ability to relate these findings into clinically meaningful data.
Requirements: Education: Proof of Registry in echocardiography with appropriate credentials: RDCS, RCS, RVS, RVT, RDMS, through ARDMS or CCI.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of full time experience in cardiac ultrasound. Must have considerable experience performing routine echoes including colorflow, pulsewave and continuous wave doppler, stress, echo, pharmacologic stress. Vascular experience a must. Also experience using contrast echo agents. Able to perform vascular studies, carotid, arterial, venous, aorta/iliac, renal ultrasound.
License: Registrations or Certifications current American Heart Association CPR certification.
Work Type: Full Time Monday Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm.
