Member Certification Specialist jobs in Trenton, NJ

Princeton Orthopaedic Associates is seeking an experienced Pre-Certification Surgery Specialist. As a Pre-Certification Surgery Specialist, you will be responsible for authorizing upcoming surgeries. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain a positive working relationship with our referring offices, patients, and clinical staff. To be successful, you must have a strong ability to multi-task, a strict sense of urgency, be technically savvy, service-oriented, communicate effectively, and consistently display a professional demeanor.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience is required for this position
• Obtain pre-certifications and pre-determinations for upcoming surgeries
• Request treatment records, as needed, for use in pre-service insurance reviews
• Maintain ongoing communication for the efficient clinic operations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment with excellent follow-through
• Ability to multi-task while producing accurate work
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
• Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems efficiently
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects, as needed
