Organizes resources to implement testing schedules and sessions, including locations, testers, technology, and materials. Additionally, Member Certification Specialist assists members with information about programs and resolves any issues with the process. Interfaces with and monitors outside testing providers. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Member Certification Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Title: Service Technician l Level 1

    Reports to: Branch Manager

    Learning period: 90-days 


    Must possess a positive attitude, good customer service skills, present a professional image, observe all company safety regulations, follow employee handbook guidelines and policy and procedures.


    Essential Duties: 

    · Maintenance, repair, fueling of Service Customer      generators and compressors.

    · Preventative maintenance, load bank, and field repairs      of 10kW–320kW generators.

    · Generator Controls: H Panel, Voltage Regulator.

    · Transfer Switch: Diagnostic/repair on all brands.

    · Assist Senior Technicians with field service repairs.

    · Delivery, pick-up, and set-up of generators, light      towers, cable and accessories.

    · Working knowledge of D/C and A/C electrical systems

    · Working knowledge of Diesel, Natural Gas, LP Vapor      engine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.

    · Load bank and NFPA110/Life Safety


    Training/Certifications:

    · Engine small bore.

    · RV, Portable, Air-Cooled Generators.

    · Commercial I, II Certifications.

    · 1-year FT4 experience or equivalent.

    • Ability to work independently in the field.
    • Be able to communicate (in English) verbally and in      writing,
    • Knowledge of load banks, NFPA 110/ Life Safety
    • Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record.
    • Consistent attendance.
    • Ability to work after hours
    • US citizenship or authorized to work in US 
    • High School Diploma, GED – Preferred
    • Ability to pass Background check, Physical and Drug      screen
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
