Additionally, Member Services Director typically reports to top management. The Member Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Member Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Medical specialties include 24-hour Emergency Services, Outpatient Surgery, Rehabilitation Services, Cardiac Care, and Behavioral Health. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission TJC, this hospital is prepared to go above and beyond to provide the best possible care to patients and their families. Furthermore, as part of a larger nationwide healthcare system, the Laboratory Director will be allowed opportunity for career growth and advancement.
The Laboratory Services Director will be responsible for oversight of all laboratory services within this acute care facility. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer COO, the Laboratory Director will provide clinical management of the laboratory, ensuring all employees follow quality and infection control policies, and guidelines in accordance with The Joint Commission, CLIA, OSHA, and CAP. The Laboratory Director will demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivating their team to deliver quick lab test turn-around times in order to ultimately ensure high quality patient care outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology, active Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP Certification, 3 years of progressive laboratory leadership experience within the acute care setting.
