A leading critical access hospital located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Inpatient Services to join their accredited healthcare team.
This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director Inpatient Services will oversee all clinical and administrative functions of the medical surgical, pediatrics, and obstetric departments. The Nurse Director will lead a team of 30 FTEs, develops departmental policies and procedures, ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, promotes patient safety and quality care, manages department budgets, and performs other duties assigned by the CNO. This is a full-time onsite position.
