Kwik Trip, Inc. operates Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Tobacco Outlet Plus Grocery, and Stop-N-Go Stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois with over 30,000 coworkers’ company wide. Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time Director of Network Services. 

Position Overview: This position's role is to provide vision and leadership for information technology initiatives that align with the design, installation, security and connectivity of computer, network, and communications systems fulfilling business objectives of Kwik trip. This position works with their team of leaders, engineers, and decision makers in other groups of IT and business units to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost effective compute, storage, and Infrastructure technology solutions to support Kwik Trip. This individual reports to and seeks approval from the Senior Director of IT.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, make recommendations, and develop an appropriate Network Services organizational structure to support the communication, and compute platform service.
• Assist in development and continuous control of the Network Services annual operating and capital budgets.
• Review hardware and software acquisition, maintenance contracts and master agreements for all Network Services related services.
• Provide the Senior Director of IT Operations with comprehensive weekly reports on the status of projects and support issues.
• Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external vendor partners.
• Continue to develop IT Network Service teams at all levels to prepare succession planning in all areas.
• Work with all levels of Network Services leadership team to ensure appropriate talent are trained and qualified to support all areas of Network Services.
• Work with Talent Operations Recruiting to ensure to attract and retain the highest quality IT candidates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 10 years of Network and or infrastructure experience and 5 years in management experience.
• Knowledge of proven modern communication and compute technologies in the industry that can be best utilized to meet the goals of the company.
• Knowledge of communication and compute platform as well as related security solutions,

         compliant with the requirements of a desired security posture or state.

• Thorough understanding and knowledge of Project Management.
• Knowledge of business theory and business processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of budgeting.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Weekend and non-business planned, and unplanned work may be required as needed.
