Member Services Manager is responsible for daily activities in the member services function for a health plan or health maintenance organization (HMO). Collects data on member inquiries and service requests and conducts analysis to identify trends and recommend solutions. Being a Member Services Manager ensures service representatives follow established policies for addressing member inquiries and meet service quality goals. Manages the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff. Additionally, Member Services Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Member Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Screen clients for PATR/RSS Services.
Provide targeted case management and skills development services to clients with co-occurring disorders including substance use disorders.
Link clients to needed resources and coordinate service delivery with interdisciplinary team as well as with other community providers.
Advocate with and on behalf of clients.
Provide services in the office and the community.
Provide vouchers and monitor voucher PATR/RSS system.
Complete and submit timely documentation for state reporting program.
Attend trainings, team meetings, supervision, and any other duties that may be assigned.
Required Experience:
High school graduate/equivalent.
Certified Case Manager (or must obtain certification through Agency within 1 month of employment).
If SSW licensed, must maintain license by meeting all requirements of licensure including obtaining requisite CEU's.
Must have a working understanding and experience working with adults with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment.
Must have awareness of available community resources, effective communication skills, and collaboration skills.
Valid Utah driver license with good driving record (no more than 1 violation) since this job will require driving for the agency.
