Position: Teller/Member Services Representative

Job Summary:
The Teller/Member Services Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to members of our credit union. As the face of the credit union, the Teller/Member Services Representative must maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling cash, maintaining accurate records, and making knowledgeable recommendations to members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process members' financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Respond to members' inquiries in person, by phone or email
- Provide guidance and support to members on accessing and using credit union services
- Assist members in the completion of loan applications, opening new accounts, and other credit union services
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and accounting reports
- Identify and recommend appropriate options for members based on their financial needs and preferences
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures, as well as federal regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Operations Manager

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to work as a team member
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of credit union products and services is an asset

Working conditions:
The Teller/Member Services Representative works in an indoor office setting and is expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The job requires standing for long periods, counting cash, and operating computer equipment.
