Description

The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for reliable, friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our Member Services department in our Cranford location!  We offer a fun, positive and inclusive work environment.

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting members, guests and other staff at the Welcome Center with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Enrolling new members and assisting current members with any changes to membership/enrollment
• Resolving member problems and concerns
• Answering phones and directing calls, as necessary
• Accurately processing payment for membership and program registration
• Assisting with special events, as needed

Current Open Shifts:  Monday-Friday 4:45am-9am and Sundays 6:45am-3:15pm

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior customer service experience a plus, but not required

Willing to obtain CPR/AED, First Aid & Oxygen certifications; will train on-site.
