Member Services Supervisor supervises a group of member services representatives that address health plan or HMO member inquiries, questions and concerns in all areas including enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, and referrals/authorizations for medical care. Responsible for researching more complex questions, investigating the cause of the issue, and responding to members on escalated issues. Being a Member Services Supervisor assists with hiring, training, ongoing monitoring and QA, performance evaluations and any corrective actions of member services representatives. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Member Services Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Member Services Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.   • Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking an Administrative Services Supervisor to join its Office & Administrative Support Team at its company headquarters in Brookfield, WI. In general, the Administrative Services Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight of Office & Administrative Services staff and the maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Supervise direct reports, make recommendations for performance management and disciplinary action. Train subordinates to achieve goals. In addition, contribute to the new employee selection process. Ensures proper staff coverage of all areas and provides back up as needed.
    • Responsible for managing all vendors to ensure no interruption in services such as, cleaning services, office equipment, plant maintenance and vending services. Serves as main contact for building engineer. Inputs work orders for facility maintenance.
    • Communicates any planned maintenance or cleaning to avoid interruptions of normal business operations. Handles escalated employee complaints pertaining to building issues or needs.
    • Collaborates with Administrative Services Manager on large construction and repair projects to ensure proper flow of communication amongst on-site employees, contractors, and vendors.
    • Collaborates with Administrative Services Manager on employee performance management and disciplinary action of staff.
    • Responsible for oversight and approvals of expenses pertaining to vendors, contractors, and building/office supplies. Manages all invoices with exception of facility maintenance and improvements.
    • Maintains the integrity of company records, on and off-site; working with various departments to manage retention and destruction schedule. Performs audits according to Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and trains staff on process
    • Other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    This position requires a High School Diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, some supervisory experience is required. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Associates Degree in a related field is strongly preferred.

    This position requires minimal travel by use of motor vehicle, public transportation, and/or airplane.

    Physical requirements include sitting for extended periods of time, and walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 40 pounds) occasionally during work hours. This position works in a professional office environment. No personal protective equipment is required. Ergonomic equipment is available to employees.


    Working as an Administrative Services Supervisor requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary. Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.
