Member Services Supervisor supervises a group of member services representatives that address health plan or HMO member inquiries, questions and concerns in all areas including enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, and referrals/authorizations for medical care. Responsible for researching more complex questions, investigating the cause of the issue, and responding to members on escalated issues. Being a Member Services Supervisor assists with hiring, training, ongoing monitoring and QA, performance evaluations and any corrective actions of member services representatives. In full compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, the Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for the processing functions as defined by Member Support Services. All employees are also expected to meet a high level of customer service to internal/external customers by:
· Providing professional, prompt, accurate and efficient responses to email or other communication requests from internal/external customers/ members
· Promptly researching and resolving inquiries and problems as they arise
Deposit Operations:
· Support File and Support processing handling transactions if needed
· Process monthly IRA RMDs for members
· Process manual payrolls
· Assist with remote deposit capture processing transactions as required
· Complete Return Deposit items and create letters
· Process Escheating
Additional Requirements:
This role involves performing a range of duties related to deposit accounts, transactions, and member service to ensure efficient and accurate operations while working alongside an offshore team and servicing backup for functions performed by the offshore team.
· Maintains a high level of awareness in areas of regulatory compliance, loss prevention, security matters, and adherence to the credit union/MSS policies and procedures
· Monitoring and addressing fraudulent or suspicious activity related to deposit accounts
· Contributing to process improvement initiatives to streamline deposit operations and enhance member experience
General Expectations:
The deposit operations processor will possess a thorough knowledge of credit union products and services. In addition, the processor will:
· Complete expected level of product training

· Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as other applicable software
