Member Services Supervisor supervises a group of member services representatives that address health plan or HMO member inquiries, questions and concerns in all areas including enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, and referrals/authorizations for medical care. Responsible for researching more complex questions, investigating the cause of the issue, and responding to members on escalated issues. Being a Member Services Supervisor assists with hiring, training, ongoing monitoring and QA, performance evaluations and any corrective actions of member services representatives. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Member Services Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The duties of the Clinical Supervisor will include assisting the Program Director with overall supervision of the program to include scheduling, covering shifts as needed, training, on-call coverage, representing the program in the community as requested; planning, developing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the program. Completes Comprehensive Rehabilitation Needs Assessments (CRNAs) and Individualized Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs) for Crisis Diversion Homes within 24 hours of admission and revises minimally every 30 days after admission. The program supervisor will be responsible for providing direct supervision of the consumers residing in respite setting and oversee all support specialists. Completes chart audits to ensure electronic health record is in compliance with agency and licensing standards. Manages discharge planning and follow-up care. Assist with staff meetings, meeting minutes, and maintaining training materials. Shares 24- hour on-call responsibilities with Program Director. Utilizes SCM, CPR, and First Aid techniques as needed. Ensure completion of the comprehensive intake assessment and ongoing nursing assessments by appropriately licensed and credentialed staff; individual, group and family counseling; Crisis Intervention Counseling; Explanation to consumer resident of their rights and procedures in the event they are removed or discharged from the residence; and Clinical support for staff 24 hours a day.
The Crisis Diversion Home provides recovery-oriented temporary transitional housing for up to 5 individuals, up to 30 days, within a 24-hour supervised environment. Two staff are on site at all times to provide therapeutic and social supports to consumers in crisis referred from Crisis Receiving Stabilization Centers and Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams.
