Membership Assistant jobs in Spartanburg, SC

We're looking for someone energetic, friendly and motivated that has the flexibility to work 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM in our Boiling Springs location. This candidate should also enjoy working out, fitness AND sales and is interested in a Sales and Membership Consultant role. Think of yourself as bridging the gap between all the people that want to get healthier but aren't sure how or where to start. In this position, this Membership Consultants will help us convert prospects to members, set appointments to get people into our club, work with them to get on a membership that fits their needs and help them understand how personal training plans can help assist them with their fitness journey.

Our new Membership Consultant will be in charge of managing a balance between incoming prospects, new leads and following up on existing leads from a variety of sources to get these folks in the door and get them healthy, happy, and members for life as well as helping keep the gym looking clean and running smoothly!

Pay Structure: Hourly rate Commission on new membership sales.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Converting Prospects to Members
• Following up with leads and converting leads to appointments
• Follow up on your portioned incoming leads from web, renewal, and cancelled lists
• Generating Membership Referrals
• Greeting and checking in all members
• Answering phones in a courteous, helpful and professional manner
• Setting appointments for Success Sessions
• Conducting guest tours
• Assisting with club’s daily maintenance/cleaning
• Creating relationships inside and outside the gym
• To become the greatest ambassador & promoter of Workout Anytime; our brand, our clubs, our services

Qualifications

• Candidates MUST have a proven and successful background in sales.
• Candidates should have some experience in the fitness industry or sales and are able to work in a cooperative, interactive gym setting.
• A flexible work schedule is preferred with availability to work Saturdays. Previous gym experience also preferred.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
