Membership Associate - Museum jobs in Brockton, MA

SUMMARY: This position will supervise the operations of The Hall at Patriot Place, including opening and closing the building, the ticket operation, including cash flow, and staff overall building supervision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage The Hall at Patriot Place primarily on nights and weekends but also as needed
• Oversee guest services staff during supervisory shift
• Oversee ticket operation and cash flow during supervisory shift
• Oversee building operations during supervisory shift
• Oversee the proper opening and closing of the venue
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guest services staff

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of museum operations and common practices
• Knowledge of the Patriots helpful but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Self-motivated
• Must work evenings and weekends
• Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Word and Excel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel.
• The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
