Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Membership Processor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone etiquette, strong computer skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Assist with processing memberships, to include, but not limited to, verifying assessment payments, taking photos, printing ID cards, etc.
- Provide information about Ocean Pines and its many amenities
- Handle inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with special projects or events as needed
Experience:
- HS graduate or GED equivalent; 1-year minimum general office work experience, preferably in a financially related or customer service capacity; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Good knowledge of basic arithmetic sufficient to add, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read, clearly speak and legibly write the English language, and demonstrate excellent verbal and interpersonal skills on the job.
- Must perform fine hand control procedures utilizing computer, copy machine, ten key calculator, telephone, fax machine, and other office equipment.
- Effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to make quick and accurate observations regarding data and text on adding machine and computer keyboards and screens; and hearing sufficiently to detect telephone in an environment with background noises typical of an office environment. - Must perform physically related duties, such as lifting heavy objects up to and including 30 pounds in weight, short-distance walking, standing, sitting stooping, and bending. - Demonstrate ability to exercise good judgement to analyze non-standard problems involving several concrete variables and perform routine clerical duties of limited complexity following written, oral, schedule, or diagramed instructions. - Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and to interact in an efficient and courteous manner with property owners.
