Men's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's men's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire men's coaching staff. Being a Men's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Men's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Men's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Men's Athletics Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. An OTA Instructor Must:
· Have experience working with kids
· Be comfortable working in an athletic setting
· Have some knowledge of sports
· Be available to work Evenings M-F (potential to work 1-5 days) 5:45-8:30
· Have your own transportation
· Be punctual
· Be professional
· Be patient
· Implement high-energy and fun classes
Work Environment:
· This is a part-time position.
· You are required to arrive at 5:45pm and stay until every child has been dismissed and all equipment has been put away.
· You will use your own transportation to drive; OTA does not reimburse for gas or mileage.
· There are mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
Job Logistics:
· Each instructor is responsible for their issued equipment bags
· Classes are for children K-8
· Pay is $15 hour
