SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- College experience is preferred.
- Experience in sports information, communications, media, journalism, public relations, or related fields; expert attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Knowledge of sporting rules and regulations.
- Ability to use content and student management systems, including web pages; familiarity with streaming-video technology.
- Ability and interest to keep abreast of trends and topics, to help stay in tune with what might interest the school's audiences and the media.
- Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with those contacted in the performance of duties.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, willing and able to travel to away athletic events, including evenings and weekends.
- The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about adolescents' intellectual, social, and emotional development and willing to positively greet the challenges and opportunities they present.
REQUIREMENTS:
Newly hired employees MUST satisfactorily pass:
- Police clearance including digital fingerprinting
- Drug Test
- Reference checks
ANNUAL SALARY: $50,000. Exceptional fringe benefits available.
