Men's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's men's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire men's coaching staff. Being a Men's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Men's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Men's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Men's Athletics Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Position: Summer and after school K-6 Intramural Athletics Coach Positions; multiple positions available (up to 3 coaches per sport) for monthly sports offerings July through September 2021:
Soccer: July 5th-July 30th (grades K-6)
Wrestling: August 2nd - August 27th (grades K-8)
Track: Sept 7th - Sept 30th (grades K-6)
Tennis or other sports for which coaches may be interested in coaching.
Program Summary: Wahluke is offering an afterschool and summer programs for grades K-6 (or K-8) students that provide fun, safe and structured play experiences that promote the physical, mental and social development of each child in an equitable and safe environment. We will strive to build capacity within our community to offer community recreational opportunities for children. It is the intent to offer four week sessions through the school year and summer.
