Sizemore Inc. in Thomson, GA is looking for a candidate to fill the position of The Filling Allocator Support Associate. You will support the Weave Department by ensuring efficient material movement between filling yarn storage and weave machine. The support associate works closely with the team to ensure filling yarn inventory on loom is maintained at optimum levels.

Starting Pay: $13.66 per hour Shift: 8am-4pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Haul filling yarn. Properly identify and verify filling yarn. Then allocate correct amount to loom per instructions.
• General housekeeping
• Cut catch cord waste yarn and remove waste from machine.
• Relief Weave
• General housekeeping
• Maintain equipment and anything else as instructed by management.

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Should be self-directed to the point of working with little to no supervision.
• Requires regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to move around job for entire shift.
• Knowledge of weave room policies and procedures.
• Completing daily team maintenance (DTM) activities.
• Auditing safety items in department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in an Industrial environment preferred
• Basic math skills required.
• Should be self-directed to the point of working with no supervision.
• Must comply with client rules including, but not limited to safety, attendance, and other job specifications.
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
• Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances.
• Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potential stressful and time sensitive situations.
• Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
