We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Merchandise Allocator position. This role will report to a member of the buying team and work directly with the buying team and warehouse leadership. The allocator will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and proper placement of merchandise throughout stores. He or she will be key role in analyzing, identifying, and communicating key sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and may have previous experience with planning or buying.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Buying and Warehouse teams to perform all receipt allocations in a timely manner
• Review daily reporting to analyze stock to sales to ensure proper distribution of product
• Manage basic stock replenishment orders that will be analyzed monthly based on trend
• Work with Accounting team to review all invoicing and resolve discrepancies
• Manage data entry and calendar of pre-books and modifications needed
• Manage open order log
• Handle distribution of Daily Transfer Reports
• Work with warehouse team on store negative values and allocation discrepancies
• Identify and communicate sales opportunities and stock liabilities by store on a regular basis.
• Ensure that the buy quantities and stock levels satisfy current sales trends.
• Maximize product readiness for key selling times periods
• Manage essential stock replenishment programs
• Allocate product to stores based on assortment strategies
• Manage store level inventories based on sales performance through replenishment and transfer programs to maximize sales opportunities
• Identify inventory and sales risks

Qualifications

• Previous experience with allocations, planning, or buying in retail environment preferred
• Ability to be flexible, work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and data entry accuracy is a must
• Possess high levels of energy, resilience and initiative

• This is an in-office position and not eligible for remote work
