Merchandise Buyer Assistant, Sr. jobs in Los Angeles, CA

Overview

A production assistant holds a largely administrative position. Works closely with vendors and retailers. A production assistant also handles purchase orders and juggles to meet multiple deadlines. Closely monitoring production and shipments are some of the everyday duties.

Job Duties

• Corresponding to emails, scheduling production
• Assisting and managing production and making sure deadlines are met
• Communicating with vendors and sampling production as well as quality control
• Order review meetings, entering styles, sales order and generating PO's
• Assisting in tracking production and shipments
• Maintaining accurate production inventory
• Follow and meet vendor production requirements
• Oversee production finishing and packing

Experience:

• No experience required we are willing to train

Helpful Skills:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Detail orientated
• Able to follow detailed orders
• Proficiency with Excel
• Organizational skills and excellent communication skills

Education:

• GED/High School Diploma/ Degree: Preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
