Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer/Planner to join our team. As a Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and planning process to ensure the availability of materials and supplies needed for production. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Duties:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet production requirements
- Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures
- Collaborate with production teams to develop production plans based on demand forecasts
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product offerings

Experience:
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and supplier management
- Proficient in using inventory management systems (e.g., AS400, Oracle EBS)
- Familiarity with production planning processes and techniques
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
