POSITION SUMMARY
The Buyer position is responsible for performing procurement and purchasing tasks for raw materials, tooling, equipment, machinery, parts, or services. This position has the responsibility and authority to enforce the Purchase Order Procedure for acquisition of any goods, protect the confidentiality of the bidding process and the transparency when awarding a supplier. Must develop and manage a strong Supply Chain as well as establish proper criteria for supplier’s performance evaluation/qualification. This position is the primary person in the Company with access to modify Purchase Orders (in compliance with internal requirements and policies) and cannot perform Approvals or Shipping/Receiving duties.
