    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform day-to-day purchasing activities including, but not limited to running MRP and creating purchase orders for raw material/parts to meet facilities production schedules.
    • Determine appropriate order quantities based on demand and pricing.
    • Review supplier purchase order confirmations to verify accuracy. Record expected delivery dates in ERP system.
    • Expedite parts as needed to help production ensure customer deliveries are met.
    • Identify delivery risks and inform appropriate personnel.
    • Monitor open orders to ensure time schedules and deliveries are met.
    • Work with engineering to identify alternative parts as needed.
    • Responsible for ERP system master data integrity including Lead times, alternative parts, etc.
    • Assist in reconciling procurement match errors for correct pricing and proper receipts.
    • Track incoming freight costs from selected suppliers. Investigate any incoming freight cost discrepancies or errors.
    • Issue Request for Quotes (RFQ) as needed. Negotiate pricing with suppliers.
    • Reconcile and provide required receipts and backup for all procurement card transactions.
    • Order other office supplies as needed.
    • Follow up on selected weekly reports.


    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 3 years of purchasing/supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field/position with preference for electronic component purchasing experience (Preferred)
    • Organized and disciplined with time management skills.
    • Strong computer skills
    • Conscientious and responsible
    • A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office
