Merchandise Buyer, Sr. jobs in Fresno, CA

Join a growing manufacturer based in Fresno as a Buyer. You will be responsible for procuring materials to meet the company's operational requirements. Most vendors are already secured, so the Buyer is primarily focused on analyzing inventory and upcoming projects, creating accurate materials projections, and processing purchase orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

This Buyer is the sole procurement specialist and plays a crucial role within the organization. A commitment to being highly organized, reliable, and accurate is critical to success. Additional necessary skills include the ability to audit processes ensuring accurate pricing, quantities, and deliverables.

Ideal qualifications for the Buyer position includes previous experience in purchasing or as a buyer, a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related subject, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, proficiency in procurement software, and effective communication skills. Preference will be given to qualified individuals who have experience with Sage software and/or large bulk ordering with raw materials such as metal, timber, or other construction products.
