Merchandise Buyer, Sr. jobs in Portsmouth, NH

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is working with an established, growing manufacturing company near Dover, NH that is looking to add a Buyer to the team! The Buyer will primarily be responsible for reviewing key KPI's and tracking data points pertaining to shipping, product and material cost and supplier relations and performance. Responsibilities of the Buyer include but are not limited to: 

• Preparing purchase orders requests
• Source new and manage existing suppliers for materials according to price, quality, etc.
• Resolve any issues with suppliers
• Data entry on purchase order parts including codes, vendor information, etc.
• Working with the accounting department to complete month-end inventory
• Tracking open PO’s
  

Requirements: 

• 1-3 years experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing setting
• Experience using mid-large ERP systems 
• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a mix of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree outside of Business 
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel 

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 PTO, Sick time, Healthcare and Dental 401K match and other great employee benefits
