Merchandise Planner - Deli jobs in Asheville, NC

West Asheville community natural food store & deli is is looking for an awesome and committed kitchen worker. We are a small team that cranks it out, with a priority on service, multi-tasking and cooperation in the kitchen. We have a very friendly vibe, while at the same time a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction and quality food. Our deli is grab-and-go only (at this time... may evolve), and does not require active customer service. Good time management skills are a must, as is a cooperative attitude and high regard for cleanliness and efficiency. Familiarity with natural foods and experience in the food service industry is required. Creative culinary abilities are a plus! Currently weekday hours of 7-3 are being offered, and a Sunday shift (7-3) is required. Hours may change/vary as time goes on. We are also looking for someone that might be interested in some late afternoon/evening hours once they are thoroughly trained. This person would need to be very self-motivated and reliable as they would potentially be working alone in the kitchen for part of the time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
