Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Position Overview: As a Warehouse Associate at XS Merchandise, you will be an integral part of our operations team, contributing to the seamless flow of goods in and out of our facility. Your responsibilities will change on a day-to-day basis depending on what is needed in the warehouse. This role requires individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to creating an efficient and collaborative work environment.

Schedule: FIRST SHIFT ONLY: Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm. No evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Repacking: Repack merchandise into sealed cartons according to company standards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the repacking process.
• Restacking Pallets: Restacking cartons of merchandise to create uniform pallets and ensure no damages.
• Unloading Containers: Offloading merchandise onto a pallet from a container and using a pallet jack to bring that pallet into the warehouse.
• Forklift Operation: Undergo training to operate a forklift for tasks such as loading and unloading truckloads of merchandise, transferring merchandise between warehouses, and relocating items within the warehouse.
• Box Truck Operations: Undergo training to drive trucks loaded with merchandise between different warehouses, following all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Receiving: Receive and unload incoming truckloads of products, conducting thorough inspections and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Outbound Shipments: Organize and prepare outbound shipments, coordinating with other team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Order Picking: Assist in picking orders for our valued customers, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery and performing warehouse tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in order picking and inventory management, is preferred.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• Efficiency: Proven track record of working efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining accuracy.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required in a warehouse setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
