The Planner is responsible for verifying that the order entered by the data entry operators are entered correctly into our ERP system with the customers specifications. Once order has been verified by technician that all options are available for the custom order then the order is digitally sent to production facility for making of the product. The Planner will also be cross trained to be able to carry out other functions such as scanning of impressions and data entry.
Must be available to work 9AM-5:30PM on site in our Somerset, NJ office Monday-Friday.
Responsible for checking to make sure all information on orders are entered correctly and made to specification of customer.
Hooks up custom device to make sure settings are working correctly before sending to production.
Works closely with all Customer facing colleagues regarding questions on orders pertaining to any specific options or accommodations needed, to ensure product production completion.
Prepares the physical incoming impressions sent from Hearing Care professionals, and proceeds with the scanning of the impressions in a digital system.
May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager/supervisor
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GEDor equivalent combination of education and experience in addition to good written and oral communication skills in English, good eyesight, hearing, and manual dexterity. The planning function requires excellent keyboard and typing skills, speed, accuracy, attention to detail.
Excellent judgment while working in a fast paced environment, and must be able to work according to our described quality procedures. Requires a positive attitude, ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, reliability and flexibility.
Overtime is expected and required as workload, customers, and training demands, and is always mandatory if needed on the last working day of the month including work on Saturday. Cross training and cross functionality are expected.
